DESCRIPTION
The D.C Resistance Welding Power Source is a precision unit for applications where a high
degree of control and reproduceability are required. It provides constant current, constant
voltage or constant power output characteristics, weld time settings with 1mS (or 0.1 mS
optional extra) discrimination, current settings with 1 amp discrimination. The overall output
of the machine being controlled by an internal feedback loop providing accuracy in the order
of 1%.
It has settable limits for pulse 1 and pulse 2, for added safety and quality control. There are 15
memory locations to store welding conditions which are held in a non-volatile memory.
The welding power sources have opto isolated external inputs to facilitate easy interfacing in
other control systems such as personal computers via serial interface or PLC type systems.
Please contact us direct for discussion of your own requirement in this area.
The unit rapidly responds to line voltage fluctuations and to any resistance changes at the
welding electrodes.
